Duraclad is an Ironclad exclusive technology; developed, refined, and continuously improved over two decades of glove research, field trials, and user feedback. What exactly is Duraclad? It consists of a textured polymer coating on a highly flexible fabric, designed specifically for work glove applications. Each aspect of the design and production has been engineered to provide durability, flexibility and grip, when sewn into a work glove chassis. We even engineered the interaction with glove stitching – the Duraclad polymer actually allows stitching to ‘sink in’ rather than ‘ride up high’ on the surface, while securely locking down onto the base fabric.

In addition to long lasting durability and hand protection, Duraclad provides outstanding grip in a variety of circumstances – wet, dry, oily. As well as on smooth, textured and rough surfaces.
