I have to say that having been in EMS and the Fire service, I have seen many types of protective gloves over time. I have personally operated hydraulic jaws, cutters and spreaders on multiple occasions and these are some fantastic gloves! Every aspect of these gloves have been thought out very intensely and it's obvious. The general appearance is super well designed. A very robust glove with multiple materials all coming together to form a very protective barrier for your hands. The colors for safety are nice. The palm is made from a very tough abrasive like material that can obviously take a beating. It is double stitched in key points as well. All of the raised impact protective areas match the fingers, knuckles and metacarpal bone areas to protect them from blunt forces. The gloves wear well and allow good dexterity. Wrist is covered well and the end of the glove has elastic sewed in to conform to your wrist and protect from debris. I also love the I.D. spot for you to label information like name, department etc. I look forward to using these gloves in heavy applications like hydraulics and pneumatics and I must say that they are my favorite pair thus far. If you are a Firefighter or department looking for a pair of extrication gloves look no farther. Any job where heavy equipment is being used, is a great place for these gloves to shine!
