Judging for the 7th annual Pro Tool Innovation Awards is complete and Ironclad’s new Command™ Series was a winner in two categories with the Ironclad Command Impact Hi-Viz Glove (IEX-HZI) & the Ironclad Command Knit A4 Foam Nitrile Glove (KKC4FN).

The new line of Command gloves was designed with Ironclad’s exclusive, guaranteed touchscreen-compatible palm technology. The new technology is combined with their legendary glove durability, 16 point fit design, impact protection and cut resistance, to provide the best allaround hand protection at a price anyone can afford.

Here's what the judges had to say about Ironclad:

In a lengthy vote to decide which gloves deserved the PTIA 2019 award, what finally settled it was Ironclad’s Command technology. Nearly all of our contractors are dealing with smartphones and tablets through the day, and their number one complaint is having to take their gloves off every time. Even gloves that are tech-friendly seem to wear down and lose their touch. Ironclad’s Impact Glove promises crews the safety they need with the constant connection to technology that’s required without fading over time.

And At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Ironclad’s Command technology is what sets their A4 Foam Nitrile Gloves ahead of the competition. Using a 15-gauge A4 HPPE shell and advanced knitting, these cut-resistant gloves remain tech-friendly throughout their entire lifecycle, allowing you to go back and forth between the job at hand and the tech communication that makes your business flow more smoothly.

Ironclad General Manager, Eric Jaeger, has been with the company from the beginning and says, “Ironclad was founded on the belief that gloves are extension of your body, and a vital tool for the professional contractor. Just as tools are specialized for each trade, Ironclad gloves are specialized for a wide variety of tasks and trades, designed to maximize safety, efficiency, dexterity and comfort on the jobsite. A good glove will keep your hands safe, but a great glove will make you more efficient at your job.”

This year, over 70 different manufacturers and brands submitted over 360 products in several dozen categories for a shot to win a 2019 Pro Tool Innovation Award. Winners consistently demonstrated achievement in any combination of the following: innovative features, advanced power delivery, groundbreaking ergonomics, technological advancements, and value. "These new tools tend to save Pros, and businesses, money in either material costs or time-savings. That’s the kind of innovation that often speaks the loudest." said Clint DeBoer, Executive Director of the Pro Tool Innovation Awards.
