Ironclad Performance Wear, the brand leader in technical task-specific performance work gloves, was founded in 1998.  Its mission is to:

Ironclad was born on “the jobsite”, serving the needs of the Industrial Athlete – those people who work in conditions where protection from hazards, the elements or rugged conditions are required or desired. Since its inception, the Ironclad brand has challenged the status quo to develop products that not only improve the worker’s protection, but also increase their performance.

Ironclad is synonymous with technology, having seven U.S. Patents (one pending) and 54 registered U.S. and foreign trademarks.  Our patents range from ergonomically designed palm patterns to proprietary technical engineering, features and design. Ironclad uses the best materials in its products and partners with leading suppliers of innovative materials and production facilities.

Ironclad has strong industrial and consumer/retail distribution networks.  Our products can be purchased through leading industrial suppliers, such as Grainger, Uline, Fastenal, Orr Safety and many others.   Consumers can find Ironclad products at  Ace Hardware, True Value, Do It Best, Costco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bass Pro, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, NAPA Auto Parts and many other leading retailers.

Ironclad is synonymous with innovation, having created the task-specific performance work glove category. In many industries, such as oil & gas extraction, Ironclad work gloves represent the gold standard for safety and performance.  Ironclad will continue to innovate and develop new products with the goal to be “the brand of choice” for the end-user who demands performance and technology engineered into the glove he or she needs for hand protection and increased productivity.

Ironclad currently offers 80 styles of work gloves, priced between $14 and $60 per pair.  In addition to gloves branded exclusively as “Ironclad”, the company designs and markets co-branded gloves under the Snap-on®, Red Wing®, Realtree®, 5.11 Tactical® and Coleman® names.
